VISA INSTRUCTION GUIDE FOR NIGERIA
TOURIST VISA- Please send the following:
1. U.S. Passport, signed and valid for at least 6 months.
3. One (1) passport size photo, color.
4. Copy of airline tickets or travel agent itinerary.
5. Copy of hotel confirmations.
6. If visiting Nigerian relatives or friends, copy of letter of personal invitation and first four pages of their Nigerian passport.
7.Copy of recent bank statement in your name that indicates sufficient funds for travel. (or ask your bank for a visa letter)
8. Religious visitors and missionary workers will require pre-approval from the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Nigeria
BUSINESS VISA- Please send the following:
1. US. Passport, signed and valid for at least 6 months.
3. One (1) passport size photo, color.
4. Business cover letter from your company stating purpose of travel, dates of travel, name and contact of the company in Nigeria and financial guarantee for all your expenses.
5. Letter of invitation from your host/sponsor in Nigeria.
6. Religious visitors and missionary workers will require pre-approval from the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Nigeria
7. Copy of your airline ticket or travel agent itinerary.

A. Non-U.S. passport must send a copy of their U.S. visa or green card, front and back.
B. The Embassy of Nigeria is closed every Friday and not considered a business day for visa processing.
C. Fees will vary for non-U.S. passports. Please call us.
D. Documents received after 10:30am, processing will begin the next business day.
E. Yellow fever vaccinations are recommended and required if arriving from an infected country.
